Minto Skating Coordinator
As the Skating Coordinator at the Minto Skating Club, I would like to once again welcome skaters for another exciting and successful year.
I look forward to working with our members, coaches, and executive to continue to build strong programs that allow your skater to develop, progress, and have fun!
I want your child to be happy and successful at the Minto Skating Club and believe that you play a key role. That role is to continually show interest in and support for your child. The skater whose family is interested in their skating career will almost always enjoy success.
I know our members have a diverse range of skills and competencies, that when brought together help to develop a dynamic and productive environment for our skaters that will extend Minto's successful history. That is why I am asking all parents to consider volunteering for the Club!
Minto is always looking for parents to generously volunteer their time to join the board or a committee, and/or help out with various Club events.
During the year we need your help with:
- competitions,
- banquets,
- ice shows,
- test days,
- competition simulation days,
- and other events.
We also need help with:
- marketing
- communications
- and perhaps most importantly, fund-raising
Our club cannot run these important events for our skaters without you. All we need is a little bit of your time.
Below is a list of different areas that you can volunteer for.
- Committees
- Minto Skate Competition (July) and/or Club Competition (April)
- Ice Show (April)
- Special events (banquet, send off parties, simulation sessions)
- Marketing
- Fundraising
